BIO
Lars H made his name in publishing, founding the seminal quarterly Danish
magazine Elvira in 2001. The magazine forged a distinctive mark in the arts, fashion and publishing spheres and brought some of the brightest lights in design and art to the foreground.
Lars has created landmark advertising and editorial campaigns. His body of work features some of the most celebrated publications, biggest brands and pioneering charities, including Hugo Boss, Lancome, Day Birger Mikkelsen, ASOS, Monsoon, Next, Moss Bross, American Express, IKEA, Universal music, Sony music, The Danish Heart Foundation. Among others. And he has shot for British Vogue, Spanish Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Esquire, GQ. VOLT. VS magazine among others.
Lars became known for his portraiture of Artists, politics, supermodels and bands. Having photographed everyone from the Queen of Denmark to Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, Lars is often recognised as a celebrity photographer. However, his plethora of projects and campaigns featuring ‘real humans' marked him out as a genuinely passionate portrait photographer, no matter who the subject. Always pursuing personal projects which push his limits, high impact charity projects, and groundbreaking commercial campaigns, Lars has stood out for his creative qualities.
Lars's images have become part of contemporary iconography, evidence of his passion for all aspects of modern culture, and its representation in the
photographed image.
